The euro traded near a six- week high against the dollar before the French industrial production data released today. French industrial production data for October are expected to rebound from the previous month. The euro also hit its highest level in the last five years against the yen ahead of a speech ECB President, Mario Draghi, today.
French industrial production is expected to rise 0.2 % in October, after the previous month when it plunged 0.5 %. Draghi on December 5 will give a signal of Long Term Refinancing Operations ( LTRO ) has, to ease liquidity conditions for banks should ensure that money is forwarded to the real economy in the Euro area, which began to recover from the longest recession ever happened.
EURUSD is currently trading at around 1.3741 with daily lows and highs 1.3732 1.3743. While EURJPY is currently trading at around 141.93 to 141.76 daily lows and highs 142.01.
